Following the second article about LinkedIn I wrote this step by step: How can you benefit from it? Why should you use it?
Chapter 2
What is your status? It’s a daily friend
The status is important because inform others about what you are currently doing/looking for and it shows up on all of your profile connections.
It’s always good to update your status.
Why? Because you can…
-Promote your networking events or those you will be attending
-Create seminars and webinars
-Promote new articles on your blog
-Promote others great blog articles/videos/podcasts
-Promote places you am travel to
-Promote compelling questions
Chapter 3
Get connected
It is important to add all contacts to your e-mail (interesting contacts). The reason for this is because it comes not from the power in your first degree connections, rather than in your expanded connections, second degree and third degree network.
Starting writing recommendations for others and the reciprocity principle will work in your favor. (More you give, more receive)
Chapter 4
Ask compelling questions
You can ask the questions directly for categorize and target group, when you prepare the questions don’t make the questions too broad, or will get broad answer. The more concise and focused your questions are, the easier it would be to find the right answer, provided you’re with all of the information you need.
When you ask a question you:
1-Attract high quality individuals to join your network
2- Find the information you need for free
3-Expand your connections
4- Promote your profile by showing up on the home page of others
